Phone Numbers

We collect phone numbers you provide during setup, including your business phone number and your personal phone number for follow-up notifications. Phone numbers are stored in E.164 format for proper formatting and routing.

Call Data

We automatically collect call metadata including caller phone numbers, call duration, timestamps, call status, and AI-generated transcripts and summaries. This data is stored to provide our core service and allow you to review past interactions.

Website Data

When you use our website ingestion feature, we collect and process content from your business website to train your AI receptionist. This includes publicly available information from your site.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain our AI receptionist service
  • Process and route incoming phone calls
  • Generate AI-powered responses and call summaries
  • Send you notifications about incoming calls (via SMS or email)
  • Improve and optimize our service
  • Communicate with you about your account

4. SMS Communications

If you enable SMS notifications, we may send you transactional text messages related to your AI receptionist service. These messages include:

  • Notifications when customers contact your business
  • Post-call summaries with key details
  • Follow-up action items from calls

Message Frequency: Varies based on incoming call volume. You may receive several messages per day during periods of high call activity, or none on days with no calls.

Opt-Out: You can opt out of SMS notifications at any time by:

  • Replying STOP to any message you receive
  • Changing your SMS preferences in your account Settings

SMS is Optional: SMS notifications are not required to use the Funktion AI service. You can use our AI receptionist without receiving text messages.

Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.

5. Data Sharing

We share your information with the following third-party service providers:

  • Twilio: Provides telephone number provisioning and SMS delivery services
  • Stripe: Processes subscription payments
  • Firebase/Google: Provides authentication and database services

These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties. We do not use your information for marketing or promotional purposes.
